I keep getting questions about the lizards, how are they, where are they, that sort of thing. Well, luckily, none of them have made it in, yet. Thank you lizards. Please stay outside. That's your home.
Lizard #5 enjoyed a ride to and from Baylor Medical Center when Mia was 2 weeks old. I tried to shake it off the side mirror at a light thinking it would be pretty sad if it flew off the car on the freeway, but the little guy just hung on and hid under the front hood while we went 70 mph. It poked its little head out at the stop lights and again when we got home.
Two baby lizards tried to run into the house, but we were too fast for them and shut the door before they could manage. Ha! Lizards. Lizard #8 was pretty big, maybe 8 inches long, and walked right in front of us as we went inside. But thankfully, it was headed to its home in the bushes. Lizard #9, discovered this morning, was a wee little one, and somehow got caught in the doorjamb. So close, baby lizard, so close.
