Remembering & Cherishing

We went up to the Seattle area for Great Grandma's memorial service & burial last week. I will always remember her laugh and the fun we had at her house on the 4th of July playing badminton, watching Wimbledon, going clam digging, eating chowder, salmon and all kinds of desserts, watching the deer out of her window, and playing cards with her. While up for her service, we visited some friends and family and Mia got to meet a lot of people for the first time. She also went on her first ferry ride and walk around Lincoln Park. It was refreshing to be in the crisp fall air, surrounded by water and trees.
